As I’ve said earlier, the game of roulette is rather uncomplicated, but this does not mean that one must not pay attention to the rules of roulette. It’s a MUST, however. The players must be a bit familiar with the roulette rules before placing any sophisticated bets. Here are the rules you should know about roulette: The Table Minimum The first thing you should know is how the table minimum works. For example, if you are playing at a table with a $5 minimum, you are required to place $5 on each of your outside bets and a total of at least $5 on your inside bets. In this case, if you play black/red, odd/even, or high/low, it’s a rule that you must place the table minimum for each and every bet. On the other hand, there’s a chance for you to place five $1 bets on five completely different inside bets, which are usually determined by specific numbers or combinations of numbers. The Standard North American Roulette Rules Well, before you get confused, note that the Standard North American roulette rules have the table use a number of different chips than other table games at the casino. Then, every player is assigned a different color of chip. This is what allows the dealer to differentiate bets and match them to the right players. Also, the chips are deemed worthless at the other tables in the casino, so never bother to try stacking them up under your blackjack chips or anything silly like that. The dealer of roulette will exchange your game chips for regular chips at the time you finished your game. Value of Chip Denomination In the game of roulette, you typically have to give some indications to the dealer as to what value of chip denomination you want to be given with. For instance, if you are playing at a $5 minimum table, you will usually have a minimum value of $1 on roulette chips. You can judge this value based on your average bet and whether or not you like to split things up a lot. Note that when you obtain your roulette chips, the chips will not be marked or labeled with a denomination. You are the ones who will choose it and all of the chips mirror that worth. The dealer of roulette, on the other hand, will keep track of this by way of associating the amount and color of the chips with a “lammer”. Roulette Is For a More Relaxed Crowd To play and win roulette is to know that roulette doesn’t move at a quick pace. It is rather for a more relaxed crowd than you’re likely to find at the craps table. As what many pros have said, the roulette rules kind of necessitate this sluggishness, as making all of the bets is what slows things down. So, when you are at the point that you want to place your bet, don’t just be concerned about someone else having already taken your bet. Thank to colors that chips can share bets. Furthermore, roulette rules provide the player lots of time to set his or her bets, and can even keep doing so after the wheel has been spun. Just don’t try it after the dealer waves his hands over the table, though. Also, once the ball has found its pocket, the dealer of roulette will call out the winning number and place a clear marker on that number’s spot on the table layout. What follows is that the dealer sweeps the table clean and the winner is paid. Just wait until the dealer says “Place your bets before putting any chips down for the next spin”. |
